What We Need
We are seeking a candidate with 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in medical malpractice or personal injury law. The ideal candidate should be adept at handling a busy, fast-paced litigation practice with exceptional organizational skills. Your role will involve obtaining, reviewing, and compiling an organized set of medical records. Strong writing, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities are essential. Proficiency in Adobe PDF and Microsoft Office Suite is a must. Fluency in Spanish, while not mandatory, would be an added advantage.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Litigation Paralegal at MMLCS, you will work closely with a team of skilled attorneys and paralegals, guiding our clients from intake through trial. Your responsibilities will include:
Comprehensive case management.
Preparing and organizing discovery and production.
Requesting, organizing, and summarizing medical records and bills.
Organizing and electronically filing pleadings.
Coordinating and scheduling calendars.
Conducting legal fact and basic legal research.
Qualifications for Success
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal.
The ability to work overtime as needed.
