Cameron B. Bell
Associate

Cameron is an associate attorney whose practice focuses on representing individuals who have suffered catastrophic injuries or civil rights violations, as well as families who have lost a loved one to wrongful death. He takes great pride in being able to help people during the most difficult times of their lives, and is committed to holding wrongdoers accountable when their conduct causes serious harm, whether the responsible party is a large corporation, an institution, or an individual whose carelessness changed someone’s life.
Cameron joined McGinn, Montoya, Love, Curry & Sievers as a law clerk during the summer after his first year of law school and has worked with the firm since, focusing on wrongful death, medical malpractice, catastrophic injury and civil rights matters. His work supports the firm across all phases of litigation on behalf of injured clients and their families.
Cameron earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of New Mexico. He then returned home to California, where he worked as an office manager at a small family-owned dental office while preparing for law school. It was there that he saw firsthand what advocating for people against larger institutions could accomplish. He fought for the office’s patients against insurance companies that routinely denied valid claims, leaving the practice with hundreds of unpaid claims and patients owing thousands of dollars in bills. He pushed back, made insurers honor their policies, and recovered money for the office while sparing patients the fight they’d been losing on their own. It was an early lesson in what it took to hold companies, institutions, and individuals accountable for their obligations. Drawn back to New Mexico, Cameron returned to the University of New Mexico for law school.
Cameron is a member of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association, the New Mexico Black Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, exercising, watching sports, and spending time with his family.
