After a long career as a Nursing Assistant for the elderly in long term care, we met Darla when she agreed to become a whistleblower against an abusive nursing home. Her experience led to an interest in the law, and we are glad to have her here at MCML. Darla is the friendly voice and the welcoming smile at the front desk of this office. In addition to her receptionist duties; Darla provides behind the scenes support to the attorneys and staff. She has completed the Paralegal Certificate Program and is finishing the Associates Degree for Paralegal Studies. Darla enjoys spending time with her family, especially “hanging out’ with the grandsons, reading, drawing and painting, and is an avid Tomb Raider (Laura Croft) video game player.

Jane has worked in the legal field for over 20 years and recently joined MCML as a legal assistant. She is thrilled to be on board with a great law firm. She considers her hometown to be Albuquerque, though she's originally from England. She loves our great New Mexico weather!

Our resident technology expert, Sean is a multi-talented college student. We are fortunate to have him working part-time in this office, doing everything from delivering documents to the Courthouse, to providing audio/video support at our trials and depositions. Outside of work, Sean is a musician ,artist, and outdoorsman.

Roberta joined the MCML team in 2006 after spending 18 years as office manager and legal assistant for a small Albuquerque Law Firm. Roberta’s primary duty is legal assistant to Kathleen J. Love and Allegra C. Carpenter. Roberta is a native New Mexican born, raised and still living in Albuquerque’s north valley. Roberta is committed to assisting the MCML clients in their struggles for social justice and equality. Her outside interests range from gardening, reading, taking community college courses and spending time with her family.

Lorraine joined the MCML team after an 18 ½ year career with the New Mexico Trial Lawyers’ Association.  She is the firm’s office manager and assists Senior Partner, Randi McGinn. She enjoys the challenges and rewards of working at a top notch law firm.  Lorraine loves spending time with her family and tries to enjoy life to the fullest.

Christopher joins MCML following a recent relocation from Los Angeles, California. As the firm's paralegal, Christopher works with all the attorneys, and brings experience and enthusiasm to the MCML team and all of our clients’ cases. After earning a B.A. from Occidental College, Christopher enjoyed life in Southern California and working with Plaintiffs firms “fighting the good fight” for individuals who were victims of medical malpractice, employment discrimination, landlord tenant disputes and toxic tort and products liability cases.  Christopher looks forward to continuing the “fight” here in New Mexico with MCML.  When not at work, Christopher enjoys spending time with his parents, grandfather and the most recent family member, his black Labrador, Zoë.

Lukas is MCML’s courier. His duties range from court filings and document deliveries to keeping track of office supplies and general office tidiness. Outside of work, Lukas is a fulltime student at UNM, working on a BA in Classics, and he is a lover of both the refinements of urban life and the austerity of the natural world.
